Terms and Conditions: Alice in Wonderland Inspired Chess Set Prize Draw
1. The Promoter
The promoter is Trejayne Glass Studio, LTD. of Newlands Memoiral Hall, Halmyre Mains, Romannobridge, West Linton, Peeblesshire, EH46 7DN (the "Promoter").
2. The Competition
2.1. The title of the competition is the Wonderland Chess Set Prize Draw.2.2. This is a prize draw where entrants can purchase entries or enter for free via a postal route.
3. How to Enter
3.1. The competition will run from 12:00 PM BST on Monday 7th September 2026 (the "Opening Date") to 12:00 PM BST on Wednesday 30th September 2026 (the "Closing Date") inclusive.3.2. To enter the prize draw, you can choose one of the following routes:
- Paid Entry Route: Visit our website and purchase entries at the rate of £1 per entry. There is no maximum limit to the number of paid entries you can purchase.
- Free Postal Entry Route: Send a standard postcard or letter by first or second-class post to the physical address listed on our contact page here: Contact.
3.3 For a postal entry to be valid, it must include the following legible information:
- Your full name
- Your complete physical postal address
- Your email address (as this is how we will contact you if you win)
3.4 All postal entries have the exact same chance of winning as paid entries. All valid entries will be treated equally.
4. The Prize
4.1. The prize is a custom-made, Alice in Wonderland-inspired chess set.4.2. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative is offered.4.3. Worldwide shipping is included at no extra cost. The Promoter will cover all delivery fees and all landed costs (including any local customs duties, import taxes, or clearance fees) required to safely deliver the prize to the winner's country.
5. Winner Selection and Notification
5.1. One winner will be chosen at random from all valid paid and free entries using a verifiable random number generator.5.2. The winner will be announced and contacted via email on Friday 2nd October 2026.5.3. The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner via the email address provided at entry. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of the notification email, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected at random.
6. Data Protection and Publicity
6.1. By entering, you agree that any personal info provided (name, address, email) will be held and used by the Promoter solely to administer this prize draw. Your data will be handled in compliance with UK GDPR.6.2. To comply with the UK CAP Code, the Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. The Promoter will publish the surname and country of the winner on our official channels on Friday 2nd October 2026.6.3. If you object to your surname and country being published, please contact the Promoter before the Closing Date. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) if legally required.
7. General
7.1. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so.7.2. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
