About me

Hi, I’m Trejayne!

I’m a glass blower based in Scotland, UK and for the past four years I’ve been self-learning the art of flameworking - a modern approach to glass blowing that uses a torch rather than the traditional furnace.

Since 2021, I’ve documented my learning journey through social media, growing a following of nearly two million people. By sharing my experiences online, I hope to inspire a younger generation to take up the craft.

Gradually, I have developed the skills to create a variety of glass items, including glass pens, chess pieces, flowers, crowns, goblets, and bottles. Much of my work draws inspiration from popular culture - TV shows, movies, and books - which I reimagine as unique, whimsical pieces.

Last year I created and showcased Glass Nail Rings at Paris Fashion Week, these nail accessories are still in development and are available for preorder while I work out the final details.

I recently attended a scholarship at the Corning Museum of Glass in New York, my first formal training course and I’m now brimming with ideas for projects using my new found skills!

Looking ahead, I have aspirations to develop an eco-friendly glass homeware collection by recycling single - use glass such as wine bottles and jam jars, transforming them into reusable bowls, plates, and cups.

Currently I’m focusing my efforts on longer format videos and larger pieces of work so come follow along on my youtube channel!
